Queen is Taylor Wilhelm and Freddie Manyawu is king. Manyawu spent halftime with his teammates as Coach Rick Hodge urged the Pirates into turning their 11-point halftime lead into a 63-56 conference victory.

A request for proposals opened last week by the City of Parkville may be its first bid search in over 14 years for the city attorney position. Parkville mayor Gerry Richardson said that he was not aware of the city taking proposals for new attorney since his own first term as alderman in 1996.
