Platte County commissioners have approved a $5,540 change order for erosion control at Benner Park in Weston in response to a request made by Noel Challis, senior park planner. New trails at the park, said parks director Brian Nowotny, have been experiencing erosion due to excessive water runoff, which, if continued, could erode surfaces beneath the trail and cause the paving material to fail.
