Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Babcock of Platte City announce the birth of their son, Andrew Dean, on November 14, 1975 at the Spelman Memorial Hospital in Smithville. Mr. and Mrs. D.H. Wallingford are the maternal grandparents and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Babcock are the paternal grandparents.


The Navy has announced the graduation of Fireman Jerry L. Lyle, son of Mr. and Mrs. John K. Lyle of Parkville, from recruit training at San Diego.

Carol Robin Duncan, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Towns, of Platte City and Billy Ray Kossen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kossen of Platte City, were united in marriage on Nov. 15, 1975.
