The Platte County Sheriff’s Office says it is continuing its investigation into the shooting death of Taylor Hawkins, 31, which occurred on June 28 in the 28000 block of Oberdiek Lane, in rural Platte County. Hawkins was found shot to death in the yard of a residence in an area of the county often referred to as East Leavenworth.

Authorities are still attempting to locate the two people of interest previously identified in this investigation, McKayla Archambeau and Cordero Cervantes.

Major Erik Holland says currently the sheriff’s office is working various law enforcement agencies to locate the two people of interest.

Anyone with information related to the location of McKayla Archambeau and Cordero Cervantes is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS or the Platte County Sheriff’s Office at 816-858-3521.
