Been waiting for the next local dining option? Your wait is over. Doni’s Italian Restaurant opened Wednesday, June 24 in Downtown Platte City. The restaurant is at 339 Main St., directly across from the Platte County Courthouse, in the building that formerly housed Shirley’s Fashion Center. The structure has been renovated by building owner David Barth. On its Facebook page, Doni’s says: “Enjoy homemade Italian favorites including pasta, pizza, seafood, chicken dishes, fresh salads, desserts and a full bar.” Questions?
