The persons of interest in the recent homicide of Taylor Hawkins, 31, in rural Platte County have been located and are currently in custody out of state, says Major Erik Holland of the Platte County Sheriff’s Department.
Holland said investigators from the sheriff’s department are on the way to speak with the persons of interest, identified as McKayla Archambeau and Cordero Cervantes.
Hawkins was shot to death in the yard of a residence in the 28000 block of Oberdiek Lane in rural Platte County on June 28. Authorities had been seeking the persons of interest since that time.
