The Parkville Veterans Memorial project is a partnership with the Parkville Veterans Memorial Committee – Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Patriot Outreach – the City of Parkville, Park University and the Daughters of the American Revolution. The memorial honors veterans, provides a place of reflection and remembrance and a place of recognition to give thanks to the many men and women who have given their lives for the country.

The ribbon cutting event is the dedication of Phase 1 of the memorial, which includes the Parkville Spirit Fountain, the service flags and landscaping. Phase 2 will include markers showcasing each of the service crests and additional landscaping; the schedule for Phase 2 will be guided by the funds available. Additional information about Phase 2, and donating to this worthy memorial, can be found online at https://parkvilleveteransmemorial.com/.
