Michael McKee, son of Mr. and Mrs. John McKee of Platte City, and Michelle Stockman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.G. Stockman of Pleasant Hill, Mo. were united in marriage in a double ring ceremony Oct. 14, 1978 at the Unity Village Clubhouse. A reception was held following the ceremony. The couple will make their home in Blacksburg, Va., where they are students at Virginia Polytechnic Institute.


Mrs. and Mrs. Kent Seeler of Leavenworth announce the birth of their son, Marcus Keith, at St. John’s Hospital on Monday, Oct. 30. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Lutte are the maternal grandparents and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Lutte, the maternal great grandparents.

Eloise Parrett entered several of her paintings in the Art and Crafts Festival at the Leavenworth Plaza Shopping Center in Leavenworth last weekend. She won a fourth place ribbon and was very pleased with the response to her first show.


Mr. and Mrs. John Gerlt of Platte City announce the birth of their daughter, Esther Marie, on Oct. 14, 1978 at the Spelman Memorial Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gerlt of Platte City are the paternal grandparents.
