Injured in crash at I-435 and I-29

A one-vehicle crash in Platte County seriously injured the driver of a 2000 Jeep early Thursday.

The crash occurred on the ramp from northbound Interstate 435 to northbound I-29, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

According to the crash report, Alisa A. Mitchell, 39, of Olathe, Kan. suffered serious injuries after her Jeep ran off the right side of the road, struck a tree and overturned. Mitchell was taken to North Kansas City Hospital by the Northland Regional Ambulance District. She was wearing her seat belt, authorities said.

The crash occurred at 12:20 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4.
