Coffee shop scheduled to open Friday

PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans is opening its first store in the Midwest in Platte City on Friday, Sept. 3, the company has announced in a news release. Franchisees are Jill and John Nelson. PJ’s Coffee Platte City is located at 1401 Branch Street (Hwy. 92) in Platte City in a former bank building. Hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. PJ’s opening will be celebrated with several promotions. On the day of opening, free beignets will be served while supplies last.
