The Missouri Department of Transportation is set to begin a sizeable resurfacing project on Hwy. 9 and Prairie View Rd. in Platte County. The scope of the project will include traffic on Hwy. 9 between Barry Rd. and Hwy. 45. The project will also impact traffic on Prairie View Rd. between Hwy. 9 and 56th St.

Preliminary/setup work will begin Monday, June 15. More details on lane closures/reductions will be forthcoming, MoDOT says. This project is expected to be completed by Nov.1
