Signage at the new Andy’s Frozen Custard near the intersection of N. Ambassador Drive and NW Skyview, Kansas City in Platte County, indicates the store will be opening on Wednesday, Nov. 1. It is in the lot just east of the new Whataburger, which is at 8851 N. Ambassador. This will be the first Andy’s located within Platte County. Andy’s Frozen Custard, which started in Osage Beach, Mo. in 1986, now has locations throughout 14 states. This new location is roughly 11 miles from both Downtown Platte City and Downtown Parkville.
