Three women convicted of drug trafficking were each sentenced to seven years in prison. Delphine A. Boy, 40, San Diego, Ca., Sheneta Bryant, 20, La Mesa, Ca., and Camille Creager, 25, San Diego, each entered a guilty plea and were sentenced by Ward B. Stuckey, circuit court judge of Platte County. Each woman was sentenced to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, but judge retained jurisdiction for 120 days. After the defendants serve the 120 days in prison, the judge could decide to place them on probation.
A 19-year-old senior at Platte County R-3 High School has been charged with a felony after allegedly selling marijuana in the high school. The male was arrested Friday and charged later that day with a Class C felony of distribution and delivery or sale of a controlled substance. The alleged sale took place near the boys restroom at the high school.
Not guilty is what former Camden Point Police Chief Thomas T. Tobin, accused of making more than $20,000 in unauthorized phone calls to a 1-900 psychic from Camden Point City Hall, says of the charges against him. Tobin recently entered the plea in Jackson County. The case was moved to Jackson County after a change of venue request by Tobin was granted.
