The Platte City Ford Rangers finished first in their league and third in a Kansas State Tournament held in Wichita to claim the third place spot. The Rangers were winning their last game 7-6 in the bottom of the last inning when a young Cubs hitter took one over the fence for a two-run homer that snatched the second place title from the Rangers. The Cubs went on to capture second place and the Wichita Rebels took first after an earlier 8-0 loss to the Rangers. The Rangers boast a 54-10 overall record for the 1995 season. Members of the team include: Brandon Fogal, Troy Medill, Luke Crawford, Kyle Richter, Brian Connell, Chance Bridger, Brian Barman, Cory Williams, Brent Parker, Craig Parker and Ryan Weedin.
