A grand opening celebration is set for May 4.

Shop owners say The Painted Tree Boutique embodies a spirit of togetherness and community support. With a focus on fostering local talent and entrepreneurship, the boutique aims to provide a treasure trove of delightful items for the discerning shopper.

“We are thrilled to be grandmother/granddaughter shop owners at The Painted Tree Boutique to Barrywoods,” said Sherii Parrett, 58, and Madison Johnson, 16, from Platte City. “The goal of The Painted Tree is to offer a curated selection of products that reflect the unique tastes and preferences of our community members. The Painted Tree Boutique will showcase a diverse range of products across various categories, including home decor, fashion accessories, artisanal crafts, and much more. With an emphasis on quality, style, and affordability, customers can expect to find something truly special with each visit.

“We want our customers to feel inspired and uplifted every time they step through the doors,” Sherii said.

“The team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels valued and appreciated.”

In addition to offering a unique shopping experience, The Painted Tree Boutique will also provide opportunities for local entrepreneurs to showcase their talents and products through consignment and collaboration.

“We believe in the power of community and collaboration,” said Madison. “By supporting local artisans and small businesses, we hope to contribute to the economic growth and vibrancy of Barrywoods.”

The grand opening celebration will feature special discounts, giveaways, and refreshments for attendees. The Painted Tree Boutique invites all members of the Barrywood community to join in the festivities and discover what makes this new store a must-visit destination.
