An apparent one-man, 30-pair panty raid has put a Kansas City man in trouble with the law. A 22-year-old KC man stands accused of stealing 30 panties from a woman’s apartment in a complex located on N. Congress Ave. in Platte County Thursday night. The man’s bond has been set at $12,000 cash only. Both the suspect and the victim are residents of the apartment complex.

To officially dedicate the new Parkville City Hall, Mayor Kathy Dusenbery cut a ribbon in front of the south entrance after speaking to the crowd on hand. “Before us today is not just a building, it is our future. It is a blending of old and new.” The new City Hall is at 8880 Clark Ave. in the Parkville Commons.
