EDITOR:

The Missouri Bicentennial is actually August 10, 2021. Researching on the “Net” one can discover some interesting activities lining up from June through the end of December, 2021 within the state of Missouri.

‘Guilt by association’ ends appointment talk

Something is wrong in Park Hill School District

Cole County has a plan as does St. Joseph and others.

It will be interesting to see how communities and their leadership react to the approaching bicentennial.

I would assume a bicentennial celebration done correctly is a somewhat complex undertaking and will take some involvement from a great many people to make it a success.

I would also assume that any community, large or small, should develop a plan to make the bicentennial of Missouri an event to remember. Waiting to plan may prove to not be the best answer available.
