Two new boutique retailers coming to Zona

Zona Rosa, the shopping district located at I-29 and Barry Road, will offer Friday bands in the months of June and July. The concerts featuring Kansas City-area bands will be held in Zona Rosa’s Central Park, which is located near the Bravo Italian Kitchen.

Guests are invited to bring a chair, blanket, and friends to enjoy an evening of music in the heart of Zona Rosa right next to Bravo Italian Kitchen.

Concerts will take place on Friday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., with a rotating lineup of local bands throughout June and July.

“Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, grab dinner from one of Zona Rosa’s restaurants, and enjoy a full night out under the summer sky,” Zona Rosa said in a press release.

Following is the lineup of bands. The description of each band was developed by The Landmark by searching each group’s individual website information.

June 12: Vinyl Revival, a group comprised of six professional musicians near the Kansas City area. Featuring 80s music. Members of Vinyl Revival have opened for artists such as Little River Band, Doobie Brothers, Eddie Money, and Atlanta Rhythm Section.

June 19: Ryan Lynch and the Lucky Stripes. “A high-energy country and honky-tonk band fronted by Kansas City-based musician Ryan Lynch,” according to its website.

June 26 – The Vincents, a popular Kansas City-based band known for its high-energy, acrobatic rockabilly performances that span from 1950s classics to modern hits.

July 3 – No concert (holiday week)

July 10 – Way Too Famous. A popular Kansas City-based band that primarily plays classic rock, progressive rock, and tribute-style music.

July 17 – Urban Legends. A band that describes itself as “a high energy party band that prides itself on filling dance floors.”

July 24 – Run With It. A band specializing in pop rock band that has toured the Middle East.
