ZONA ROSA WILL HOST AN OUTDOOR PARTY
On Saturday, June 27 from 5–11 p.m., Zona Rosa will host a lively outdoor Pitch Party and watch party in Zona’s North Park, bringing the community together to celebrate the global soccer matches taking place in Kansas City this summer.
Hosted in partnership with Go North KC, Zona Rosa is one of seven Northland locations creating spaces for fans to gather, enjoy soccer themed activities, and watch the Algeria vs. Austria international match on the big screen.
The evening will kick off at 5 p.m. with the Pitch Party, featuring interactive soccer experiences including a 5v5 futsal mini tournament, soccer-themed photo opportunities, and murals of iconic players designed by local artist Fearless Jackrabbit.
Guests will also have the chance to play EA Sports FC 26 on giant LED screens.
Additional festivities include live music, a family activity zone, and partner activations, along with a lineup of local food trucks including Scimeca’s Italian Sausage, Nunez Foods, Ghost Kitchen, Bao Wowz, Sugar Daddy’s Lemonade, and Fifth & Emery Frozen Yogurt & Chocolate.
A mobile bar and beer garden will also be available from Tap That KC.
At 9 p.m., guests are invited to stay for the community watch party, when the Algeria vs. Austria match will be shown outdoors on large screens. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the match together under the summer sky.
With Kansas City hosting international soccer matches in 2026, the event offers a fun way for Northland residents to celebrate the sport and gather as a community.
