For the second straight year, hundreds of thousands of Kansas City area residents gathered to watch the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs celebrate their NFL title. The championship parade, held Feb. 14, ended with a stage presentation at Union Station and unfortunately will forever be marred by a shooting that broke out during an altercation in the crowd just as the celebration was ending. One bystander was killed in the shooting, which injured more than 20 others. Two adults and two juveniles have thus far been charged in the shooting.
