Park Hill School District has announced tentative dates for its high schools’ graduation ceremonies and also for prom, providing if such gatherings won’t endanger public health by that time.
We know that this closure is especially hard on our seniors and their families, so we worked to reschedule graduation. If it is safe to have large gatherings by then, both Park Hill and Park Hill South high schools’ graduations will be July 26 at Municipal Auditorium in downtown Kansas City
“We know that this closure is especially hard on our seniors and their families, so we worked to reschedule graduation. If it is safe to have large gatherings by then, both Park Hill and Park Hill South high schools’ graduations will be July 26 at Municipal Auditorium in downtown Kansas City,” said Nicole Kirby, communications specialist for the Park Hill district.
Kirby said Park Hill South’s graduation will be at 1 p.m. on that day and the Park Hill High School ceremony will be at 5 p.m.
Kirby said as long as it is safe to have large gatherings by then, Park Hill and Park Hill South high schools will both have their proms on July 18 at their original locations.
The Park Hill High School prom is scheduled to be at the Hilton and Park Hill South’s at the Embassy Suites, she said.
