R​oad improvement projects proceed during a stay-at-home order for residents, and in fact with less traffic currently out and about it seems a good time to get the work rolling.

Running Horse Road south of Platte City is being milled and will get a new overlay surface. Work on the project, which begins at NW 123rd St. and proceeds north three miles, got underway Tuesday morning. The Platte City Special Road District has a pact with Superior-Bowen to serve as general contractor on the project. Contributed photo
