Gov. Mike Kehoe held a morning coffee in his Capitol office on Feb. 25 to thank Frank Offutt for accepting the governor’s nomination to serve on Missouri’s Safe Drinking Water Commission. Offutt, former mayor of Platte City, has served Public Water Supply District No. 4, Platte County, the past 28 years as executive director, and represented the drinking water industry at the local, state and federal levels during his tenure. After the governor’s reception, Offutt appeared for a Senate confirmation hearing, followed by a roll call vote, sustaining his appointment.
