A FORMER BIG LEAGUER, A MAYOR AND A DEVELOPER HONORED

The Park Hill School District’s Hall of Fame has three new inductees. They were recently honored at the Park Hill Hall of Fame Celebration. From left are Tommy Hottovy, Park Hill South class of 2000, a former Major League baseball pitcher who is now the pitching coach for the Chicago Cubs; Kathy Rose, Park Hill High School class of 1975, longtime mayor of Riverside; and Brian Mertz, Park Hill High School class of 1993, successful developer in Platte County. At right is current Park Hill Superintendent Dr. Mike Kimbrel.
