Bee Creek is back, and now there’s another food option in Downtown Platte City. The café and bakery had been closed for a while, and the building at 242 Main in the past year was purchased by David and Jennifer Barth. It has now reopened as Bee Creek Bistro. Jennifer Barth, active owner of the bistro, says hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, closed only on Tuesdays. “We are so grateful for the amazing staff we have and such wonderful bakers,” she said, adding that some of the employees formerly worked for Bee Creek under previous ownership. Learn more about Bee Creek Bistro and its menu offerings by checking them out on Facebook and at beecreekbistro.com. It is described on its Facebook page as a “locally owned and operated shop. Cozy, relaxing atmosphere where you can kick back and enjoy a coffee, pastry, breakfast or lunch.”
