Plans are complete for a reunion for all persons who attended any of the schools in Camden Point school district through 1952, the last year Camden Point had its own district. Teachers during those years are invited and guests of students and teachers. The reunion will be held at the Camden Point Elementary School in Camden Point. The date is Saturday, May 24. The North Platte Booster Club will serve an informal dinner at 6:30 p.m. Reservations must be made for the dinner.
Platte Professional Pharmacy, Platte City, opened their business Monday, April 7 with Mike Miller, R.Ph., as the operator. Mike and his wife, Jan, welcomed the opportunity to return to Platte City. Platte City’s newest pharmacist was born and raised here. He graduated from the local high school in 1970, attended Missouri Valley College prior to earning his pharmacy degree at University of Missouri at Kansas City. Mike served part of his internship in Platte City and is the son of Charles and Peggy Miller of Platte City.
