Linda and John Bryan of Louisburg, Kan. and Jim LaRose of Belton announce the marriage of their daughter, Angie LaRose, to Gary Witt, son of Jo Ellen and Don Witt of Parkville. The wedding was held Sept. 24, 1994 at the Wornall Road Baptist Church in Kansas City. The mother of the groom, Jo Ellen Witt, a Baptist minister, officiated the ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Terry Michael and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Filger announce the marriage of their children, Julie Kristine Michael and Ronald Bradley Filger. The wedding took place on July 2, 1994 at the Graham-Tyler Memorial Chapel in Parkville.
A committee has formed to bring softball for girls to North Platte High School. The committee hopes to raise $2,750 to cover the initial cost of start-up uniforms and equipment. If successful, North Platte should have softball in the 1995-96 school year.
Thursday should see the signing of a lease between Platte County and the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) for acreage at the Parma Park near I-435 and FF Hwy., where the MDC plans to develop a shooting range, it was announced Tuesday.
