It’s the most wonderful time of year at Zona Rosa. A time with impressive lights, wintry decorations, ice skating, and a grand Christmas tree. On Saturday evening, visitors got to see the magic come to life with Santa and his merry little helper, Harlow, flipping the switch during the annual lighting ceremony. On stage with Santa and Harlow were Christmas characters The Grinch and Cindy Lou Who, as well as Kansas City radio personality Jenny Matthews, who served as emcee. As Christmas draws near, the celebration continues with more visits from St. Nick, 10 Days of Holiday Giftaways, and ice skating at the shopping/dining complex located at I-29 and Barry Road.
