Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Cockrill announce the marriage of their daughter, Mary Beth, to Douglas Alan Keyes of Gladstone, Mo. The marriage vows were exchanged on April 16, 1977, at the First Christian Church of Platte City.


Mr. and Mrs. Roy Mathis of Leavenworth announce the birth of a daughter, Tina Renee, born on April 4, 1977. The proud grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Si Durham.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Shackelford have returned home from spending their vacation in England, the Netherlands, and Belgium.


The Dearborn Community Housing, Inc. held an open house Sunday afternoon. Refreshments were served to the public. The 16 units are ready for occupancy and most of them are already filled. It is located two blocks north of downtown Dearborn, in easy walking distance of community activities.


Mrs. Mary Lee Ray was the honored guest Friday evening for her birthday supper in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Ray.


Harrel Ferrel is a patient at the KU Medical Center this week for treatment.
