he Platte County R-3 High School Concert and Jazz Bands will present a concert Thursday, March 14. The program, under the direction of Wendell Doyle, will feature two selections which the concert bands will be performing at the district music festival in April, as well as other selections.
Two candidates will vie for the ward one post on the board of aldermen in the April 2 Platte City election. They are Dennis Meyer, the incumbent ward one alderman, and William H. Williams, a former Platte City mayor and alderman.
