Another round of CARES money given away by commissioners

Another round of Platte County small business grants received approval of Platte County commissioners on Monday, Aug. 10.

At the meeting Monday, Aug. 10, county commissioners gave approval to 10 grants. They are:

*Om Prana Yoga, LLC, Oma Prana Yoga and Boutique, $22,119.

*Casey Hildebrand Chiropractic Services LLC, KC North Spine and Joint Center, $10,000.

*Tricia Szasz, Parkville Artisans’ Studio, $7,000.

*Cavender Conference Center, $10,000.

*Kicking K Ranch LLC, Celtic Ranch, $9,625.

*Parkville Women’s Clinic, Hands of Hope Pregnancy Resource Center, $9,503.

*Catherine’s School of Performing Arts doing business as Catherine’s Dance Studio, $16,711.

*Phonetic Foundations, $1,000.

*Cathy’s Custom Parties LLC, Cathy’s Custom Parties and Ponies, $11,936.

*Lazer Skincare Center, LLC, DBA Undo Skincare Center, $44,386.

Undo Skincare performs tattoo removal and other procedures. Kevin Robinson, who serves as Platte County auditor, is an owner of Undo Skincare Center and is listed as a laser technician there.

*J H & S, Inc. DBA Platte Woods Laundry, $10,000.

*Martinez Immigration Law LLC, $78,155, owned by Andrea Comfort Martinez, daughter of Mark and Mimi Comfort of Cruise Holidays, who received a $226,540 grant.

*Parkville Tumbling and Acro with Ray, DBA Parkville Tumbling and Acro, $2,730.
