Workers were busy installing a sign on the location of a new branch office for Nodaway Valley Bank in Platte City on Friday afternoon, Nov. 27. The bank now has a branch office at 2703 Running Horse Road in Platte City, in the Saint Luke’s Multispecialty Clinic building. The bank had been operating out of a loan office on Prairie View Road near Walgreens. David Lewis with Nodaway Valley Bank on Monday said: “Today is the first day of business in the new location. Due to COVID ordinances, it’s a ‘soft’ opening with lobby access by appointment.” Phone number at the bank is 816.597.5300.
