Imagine being the “fixer” for the Kansas City Chiefs. Just after he thought he was getting a rest for a few weeks, wide receiver Rashee Rice’s (ex) girlfriend breaks out some beating allegations on her socials and the dude has to grab his briefcase, suitcase and a bag of money and go “fix” the next problem and 2nd offenses for NFL players can get expensive.

Beyond that, he’s now got a bunch of low-level elected officials throughout Johnson and Wyandotte County to squash out whenever they balk at sending all their tax money to Clark’s new house, while the Chiefs hurriedly spend the taxpayer’s money on a new stadium.

Probably needs to get his Kansas “fixer” license before he gets to work on that part, but I’m no expert.

Imagine having to buy tires for your Wyandotte County cruiser and your tax money from the purchase being diverted to build Clark Hunt’s suite. That hurts. Your roads and law enforcement can wait for 20 years while they pay off this stadium. You have to understand priorities in the modern world of state and local government. Your neighborhood can wait, we’ve got retailers, sports teams and such to satisfy, to heck with clean and safe neighborhoods.

I laughed out loud when I read that the City of Kansas City, Missouri had authorized close to $500,000 American dollars for a study on what to do with the Truman Sports Complex. For a 12-pack of Michelob Ultra, I’d take care of that for them. Landfill might be the best option if they insist on ignoring the current condition of the surrounding areas. Anyway, can’t wait to read that thing.

Kansas City’s Mayor Lucas recently promoted some statistics that indicated violent crime was down in the City of Kansas City. Despite the need to tilt your head slightly to believe those numbers, I do find it interesting that there is no mention of the Republican led state government during these promotions. When Kansas Citians were shooting each other at record pace, the mayor was always quick to point out that a big part of the problem was the lack of restrictive gun law supporting Republican lawmakers from the rural areas. Can’t the gun toting hillbillies from out state get a little love when things are going well?

My favorite thing on Monday mornings is to watch reporters and such lose their minds over President Trump’s weekend Truth Social Posts. I think Donald just sits around in his boxers on the weekends and “tweets” anything that comes to his mind and it seems to be quite the active mind and then everyone reacts on Monday morning like he meant everything he said.

I know Trump doesn’t drink, but he has the personality of a drinker for sure. Maybe it’s the lack of sleep. I’m not a doctor.

People that stress over his rants at this stage obviously never had experience with a drinker that said stupid stuff on Friday nights. The secret with this personality is to ignore what they said and casually redirect them. Like toddlers, kind of, just not as cute.

That’s why All the President’s Men are so important. An early morning call does it all, “Hey Donnie, we’re not nuking North Korea today, too complicated, I think you still owe everyone the $1000 stimmi checks. Can we get that going this morning?”
