IT’S A CHANGE AFTER NEARLY A DOZEN YEARS OF PARTNERSHIP

After almost 12 years of partnership, attorneys Jared Welch and Jeremy Webb announce the dissolution of their law practice effective December 31, 2025. The attorneys will continue to practice law, but in separate firms independent of one another.

Jared and his wife Pamela, who has been with Welch & Webb since 2019, will be forming: Welch & Welch: Attorneys-at-Law, LLC and they will continue to have offices in Platte City and Maryville. Associate Attorney Gregory T. Melham will continue to work for them. Welch & Welch will continue to concentrate its practice in the areas of personal injury, worker’s compensation, and criminal and traffic matters.

Jeremy will be forming Webb Legal Solutions, LLC and he will have an office in Platte City where he will continue to concentrate his practice in the areas of personal injury, estate planning, real estate, and criminal and traffic matters.

This decision reflects a thoughtful and amicable transition, made with respect for the firm’s history and the professional paths of its members. “We have been practicing law together since we were both young associates at Shafer Law Office in Weston,” Welch reminisced. “And while we’ve had great business success and accomplishments together, we are most proud of our genuine friendship. We have watched each other’s families grow up and have been each other’s biggest cheerleaders both personally and professionally. That will not change going forward.”

Client matters have been responsibly addressed as part of this transition. However, so as to not disrupt current representation the attorneys will continue to operate their new respective firms out of their current offices located at 500 3rd Street in Platte City and 104 E. 3rd Street in Maryville for the near future. This will allow for the orderly transfer of files and client matters as appropriate between the new firms and in accordance with applicable professional rules and obligations. If you are a current or past client of the firm and you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Jared or Pamela Welch at 816-640-5221 or 660-224-4544 or Jeremy Webb at 816-858-3007.
