City hosting drive-through holiday event

The City of Platte City will host a holiday event it is calling City Wonderland. It will be held the evening of Saturday, Dec. 14 from 5-7 p.m.

It is a drive-through event at the City Hall complex, located at 224 Marshall Road in Platte City. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand, and cookies will be given away.

“Cookies, Santa and more,” the city says on its social media account.
