The ceremony will feature the Zona Rosa historic holiday crowns and what Zona is calling “a brand new never before seen Grand Christmas tree.”

The event will be in the North Park, which is the area south of Dillard’s.

Santa Claus will make his arrival at 6 p.m. to turn on the holiday lights.

Prior to Santa’s arrival, there will be activities such as performances by local bands singing holiday tunes (Rusty Laffoon, Nick Nave, Nicole Springer, Miguel, Josephine Eve).

The celebrity emcee will be Nikki Vivas of the Ponch and Nikki Show from radio station 99.7 The Point.

Attendees can stop by the Zona tent for a special jingle bells giveaway and Zona coupon books.

There will be a food and coffee truck.

Adult beverages such as Queen of Acorns (spiked cider, hot chocolate, wine and beer).

Movie characters The Grinch and Cindy Lou will be hanging out from 4-6 p.m. for photo opportunities. Attendees can also take an ‘elfie’ with Instagram-worthy backdrops.

There will be community sponsors and tenant activity booths.
