A lawsuit against Platte County by the developers of the proposed Lake at Tomahawke Ridge high density housing development east of Platte City has stalled again after another judge recused himself. The lawsuit was filed after an application for a proposed housing development along Hwy. 92 with more than 600 homes on around 300 acres of land was denied by the county. The proposal was pushed by Tim Dougherty, developer, and Hal Swaney, majority property owner.
