Allyson Berberich has officially announced her candidacy for Platte County Commissioner, District 1.
Berberich says she has a passion for enhancing the quality of life for all residents. Berberich says she would “bring a wealth of experience, a commitment to fiscal responsibility, and a vision for a prosperous and vibrant future for Platte County.”
Berberich is running to fill the seat currently held by Dagmar Wood who is not seeking reelection.
As a 16-year resident of Platte County, Berberich has been involved in various organizations, committees, and initiatives.
“I am excited to announce my candidacy for Platte County Commissioner, District 1,” said Berberich. “I have witnessed firsthand the incredible potential of our community, and I am committed to ensuring that Platte County thrives in the years to come.”
Berberich’s says her top priorities will be responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars; working collaboratively with local law enforcement to provide them with the support and resources they need; and advocating for policies that promote economic development, attract investment, and create opportunities for small businesses to thrive in Platte County.
Berberich resides in Parkville with her husband and two teenage daughters. She is self-employed and serves as an alderwoman for the City of Parkville.
