Web design company Digital Silk analyzed search data for more than 200 of the world’s largest brands by combining each name with the terms ‘logo,’ ‘brand,’ and ‘branding’ to see which NFL team brands people are searching for the most in America.

  1. Dallas Cowboys
Topping the list for the NFL team with the most searched branding is the Dallas Cowboys, with 30,426 average monthly searches. One of the two NFL teams in Texas, the Cowboys’ logo represents the team’s home in the Lone Star State. The Cowboys logo is very simple: a royal blue five-pointed star with a white border and royal blue outline.
The Cowboys have a storied history in the NFL, winning five Super Bowls. Their 12-5 record in the 2023 regular season saw them finish first in the NFC East. They were eliminated in the Wild Card playoffs, where they lost to the Green Bay Packers.
  2. Philadelphia Eagles
Second for the NFL team with the most searched branding is the Philadelphia Eagles, with 27,000 average monthly searches. The Eagles’ logo is a cartoon bald eagle’s head colored in white and grey, with black lines and border.
The Eagles have a long history in football and have won a Super Bowl. With an 11-6 record that saw them finish second in the NFC East, they made it to the Wild Card playoffs before being eliminated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
  3. Kansas City Chiefs
With 22,105 average monthly searches, the Kansas City Chiefs are third. The Chiefs’ logo is an interlocking red with black outline K and C on top of a white arrowhead with black outline.
The Kansas City Chiefs have won three Super Bowls, winning two of those Super Bowls recently in the 2019 and 2022 NFL seasons. Their 2023 regular season record of 11-6 put them first in the AFC West. After beating the Miami Dolphins in the Wild Card round, they progress to the Divisional playoffs to face the Buffalo Bills.
  4. Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills are fourth for the NFL team with the most searched branding, with 21,360 average monthly searches. The Bills’ logo is a stylized charging blue buffalo with a red streak starting at the horns and extending along the length of the logo.
The Bills’ 11-6 regular season saw them finish first in the AFC East. After beating the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card round, they will host the Chiefs at Highmark Stadium in the Divisional playoffs.
  5. Minnesota Vikings
At fifth are the Minnesota Vikings, with 19,585 average monthly searches. The Vikings’ logo is a stylized depiction of a blond-haired Viking wearing a yellow helmet with purple trim with white horns.
The Vikings missed out on a playoff spot this year, only going 7-10 in the regular season and finishing third in the NFC North.
  6. Miami Dolphins
Sitting sixth for the NFL team with the most searched branding is the Miami Dolphins, with 16,743 average monthly searches. The Dolphins’ logo is a stylized aqua, white, and blue dolphin overlayed on a white sun with orange corona.
The Miami Dolphins have won two Super Bowls, and have made it to the playoffs. Their 11-6 record was enough to finish second in the AFC East but were eliminated in the Wild Card playoffs by the Kansas City Chiefs.
  7. Cleveland Browns
With 14,383 average monthly searches, the Cleveland Browns are seventh. The Browns are the only NFL team not to have a helmet logo. This lack of a logo on the helmet is why their current logo is a burnt orange football helmet with a brown stripe and white highlights.
The Browns have recently introduced an additional logo to this known as the “dawg” logo, which is a stylized burnt orange bullmastiff dog’s head wearing a spiked collar, with brown details and a white stripe running from the center of its brow over the middle of its head.
The Browns finished second in the AFC North with an 11-6 regular season record. They were eliminated in the Wild Card playoffs by the Houston Texans.
  8. Chicago Bears
Rounding out the top eight are the Chicago Bears, with 14,169 average monthly searches. The Bears’ logo is a dark blue and orange head of a roaring bear.
The Chicago Bears have won one Super Bowl and last made a playoff appearance in the 2020 season. Their most recent season saw them finish 7-10 and fourth in the NFC North.
