Changes are coming to the assessor’s office of Platte County. The county commission awarded a bid for remodeling of the assessor’s office to Glen Rogers Construction. According to Lisa Pope, assessor, the total price of the bid and the first alternate is $90,060. The project will remodel the office and will also move cords currently stretching across the floor into conduits for improved worker safety. Pope said the first alternate project is to install new carpet in her office to match the rest of the office.
