AN 18-YEAR-OLD MALE FROM KANSAS CITY
The identity of the man killed in a shooting outside the Wendy’s in Platte City has been released by police.
Police say Kareem Z. Hassan, 18, of Kansas City was killed in the incident that occurred in the back portion of the Wendy’s parking lot at 1400 Platte Falls Road in Platte City.
On Saturday, Platte City Police Chief Joe Wellington said the Metro Squad is continuing to investigate the shooting, which occurred about 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15.
One victim is deceased and the other male victim is still in critical condition at a local hospital, Wellington said.
