A site plan for a new Kentucky Fried Chicken was approved by the Platte City Planning and Zoning Commission. The new KFC restaurant is planned to go in south of Wendy’s in the Platte Valley Plaza along Running Horse Road. The KFC is scheduled to be one of the first in the country to have an inside playground at the restaurant. The approved plan allows customers to enter the parking lot from Running Horse but not exit onto that road.
