FOOD, MUSIC, VENDORS AND MORE

Community performances, live music, food trucks and many vendors will fill the Platte City’s downtown square for the annual Main Street Fall Festival.

Five businesses hit in series of break-ins

The event, sponsored by the Platte City Chamber of Commerce, will be held on Thursday, Sept. 28 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Downtown Platte City.

Food trucks with items available for purchase will include Mama Doe’s Ice Cream Bar, Urban Street Taqueria, Jadabay’s Tasty Kitchen, and Fully Loaded Foods.

Tricia Friddell, executive director of the chamber of commerce, said the food trucks will be lining Third Street.

Schedule of performances and activities are still being lined out. Chiefs mascot KC Wolf will be on hand.
