A proposed unified development ordinance and zoning map is becoming an important topic at the City of Tracy, with potential growth on the way to the small town. There is talk of new homes and a truck stop potentially on the way. The Platte County Commission honored citizens who assisted with the Platte Profile focus group. They included Dick Anderson, sheriff; Dan Peak, Stan Palmer, Valerie McCaw, first district commissioner Tom Pryor, Dave Knack, Trish Stinnett, Bob Kincaid, David Picco, presiding commissioner Betty Knight, Aaron Jung, Laurie Burgess, Jerry Haag, Margie Maasen, Louis Buntin, Susan Brown, Edie Ballweg, and second district commissioner Jim Plunkett.
