Interurban Road will be closed for pipeline repair

CLOSURE SCHEDULED APRIL 6-14

Interurban Road in Platte County will be closed for one week beginning Thursday, April 6 through Friday, April 14 for a gas pipeline repair.

Bethel Ave. bridge over I-29 to be closed Monday

The work area will be located just north of the Sharp Station Road /Gooseneck Bend intersection of Interurban Road.

In order to get north of the work area, travelers may use Sharp Station Road (west) to Settles Station Road north to Interurban Road.

To get south of the work area, travelers may use Jowler Creek Road (east) to Interurban Road, south on Interurban Road to Settles Station Road, south on Settles Station Road to Sharp Station Road (east), to Interurban Road.

Officials ask that motorists obey all speed limit, work zone and detour signs.

If you have any questions, contact the Platte County Department of Public Works at (816) 858-2223. Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
