Platte County R-3 School Board members are considering whether a 27,000 square foot building would be a nice addition to the district’s campus along Hwy. 92 in Platte City. Members discussed options of purchasing the Stiles Building at 998 Platte Falls Road. Stiles Enterprise is trying to sell the building at a cost of $2.4 million. Some suggestions for possible uses by the district include a larger space for administrative offices, a bus barn or a new elementary school.
