Man shot to death in yard of a Platte County residence

A man was shot to death in the yard of a residence in Platte County Tuesday night, and authorities are looking for two persons of interest. Authorities are investigating the incident as a possible homicide.

Major Erik Holland of the Platte County Sheriff’s Department says deputies responded to a report of a shooting at 7:42 p.m. Tuesday night in the 28000 block of Oberdiek Lane, which is in a rural area often referred to as East Leavenworth, not far from Farley. Officers found the victim, a 31-year-old white male, in the yard.

The name of the victim has not yet been released pending notification of family.

Holland says investigators are attempting to locate two persons of interest in connection with the incident: McKayla Cheyenne Archambeau, a 22-year-old female, and Cordero Thomas Cervantes, a 32-year-old male.

Archambeau is approximately 5’6″ tall and weighs about 125 lbs. Cervantes is approximately 5’7″ tall and weighs about 180 lbs.

Holland said the sheriff’s office considers these individuals armed and dangerous. Anyone who observes either of these individuals should contact their local law enforcement agency.
