Dr. Carl Myers purchase the Platte Medical Clinic in Platte City this week and plans to open his office here in the near future. Dr. Nourbaksh will continue to be located in the Platte Medical Clinic.

There was an explosion in a natural gas boiler at the Platte County R-3 High School on Monday after school had been dismissed. There were no injuries but the damage to the building was estimated at $30,000 to $40,000.
