Mr. and Mrs Walter Wade of Rushville announce the birth of their daughter, Katherine Alicia, on April 25, 1977. The maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Paul Calvert and the paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wade, all of Rushville.


Mrs. Cora May Barton of Platte City was presented a special achievement award in recognition of an outstanding contribution to the improvements of operations resulting from superior performance by the center director of the Leavenworth Veterans Administration Hospital on March 8.
