More CARES grants given out by county

And the first four grants have been paid out by county auditor

Several restaurants have been awarded CARES grants through the Platte County Commission, in the latest round of approvals given on Monday.

Among the restaurants getting the nod this week are Tanners Bar and Grill in Platte City, given $57,204; Stone Canyon Pizza, Parkville, $22,947; Bo Lings Chinese Restaurant at Zona Rosa $50,000; and Bee Creek Café and Bakery, $12,420.09.

Eleven total grants received approval this week. They are:

*SSO Inc, doing business as Tanners Bar and Grill, Platte City, $57,204.

*Stone Canyon Pizza, $22,947.

*BVM Platte City LLC doing business as Sleep Inn KCI, $149,571.

*Martinez IT Consulting Services, LLC, $19,396.52.

*Eyrie Enterprises, Inc., doing business as eyeSmith, a sport and fashion optical off Green Hills Road, Kansas City in Platte County, $33,873.08.

*Sweet Table Kansas City, doing business as Bee Creek Café and Bakery, Platte City, $12,420.09.

*Royal Nail Spa, Parkville, $10,000.

*Los Ninoss III, Inc., doing business as Stephen’s House, a day care, Kansas City in Platte County, $9,557.12.

*Los Ninos Inc., doing business as Olivia’s House Learning Center, Kansas City in Platte County, $6,284.35.

*Varsha Commercial LLC, doing business as Fast Stop, a convenience store at Parkville, $48,000.

*Bei Lings, Inc., doing business as Bo Lings Chinese Restaurant, located in Zona Rosa, $50,000.

ONLY FOUR GRANTS

PROCESSED THUS FAR

Of all the grants that have been awarded by the Platte County Commission, only four have officially been processed thus far, meaning only four checks have been issued to the recipients.

Once awarded, the recipients must provide receipts and other documents to the county auditor’s office before being cut a check.

The four checks that have gone out, according to Platte County Auditor Kevin Robinson, are to:

*HITT MO, LLC, dba Orangetheory, $18,294.

*Ranger Trophies, LLC, $604.28.

*JH&S Inc. dba Platte Woods Laundry, $10,000.

*KC Elite Transmissions, $12,000.
